Mike Fink author of "Intrepid's Fighting Squadron 18: Flying High with Harris' Hellcats"

Mike's book tells the story of one of the highest scoring carrier units in the Pacific War.  He'll spend some time with us talking about the men and the stories behind Fighting 18, his research, and his passion for the topic.

​Mike is former Senior Tour Guide and Manager of Development Content at the Intrepid Museum. An avid researcher, he spent the better part of a decade combing through archives and interviewing surviving squadron members and their families to uncover the story of “Two-a-Day 18,” The USS Intrepid’s highest-scoring fighting squadron.
