IPMS NENY Hangs Out at Hanger 743!

Unbeknownst to many, there is a warbird preservation/restoration facility at the Albany Airport called Hanger 743.  One of our club members arranged a group tour for us on March 21, 2025 and we enjoyed getting up close to several iconic aircraft, including a Skyraider, Corsair, Hurricane, Spitfire, Avenger, a B-25 under reconstruction after a ferry-flight accident, and a Texan modified to stand in for a Zero in several film productions. 

You may not appreciate how truly HUGE some of these single engine aircraft are until you actually stand right next to them!
