Tim Burke

I've been a plastic modeler who's been "hooked" ever since my Dad brought home two UPC 1/72 scale airplane kits (a Wildcat and a Helldiver) for my brother and me when we were 8 and 7 respectively.  After taking the (mandatory?) break from modeling for college/career/marriage/house, I started back up when I met some of the IPMS NENY "plankowners" back in the early 90's, who have become some of my best friends.   My current modeling tastes focus on 1/48 scale aircraft (props and biplanes preferred); small scale armor and vehicles; and ships and subs in all scales....not always, but generally in that order!  ​
