Figure Painting Demo by Shawn Hayes Shawn Hayes presented a live demonstration of his figure painting techniques using oils. He showed us how to prepare and mix the oil paints and then apply and blend them to the face of a figure in real-time. Shawn has sent along three slides from his short intro presentation before the actual painting to share with us: the first states his painting philosophy; the second is a selection of his figures (and models) demonstrating how effective his technique is; the third is a close up of the face he painted for us during the demo.
